Match Bank Data questions if not importing bank data

Starting the Match Bank Data process and have a few questions.

Note that we are not importing or matching bank data.

Where is the bank balance entered, and the date of the bank statement.

How to save work in process, leave the page, before permanently saving a reconciliation.

How do we save the reconciliation, when it is done?
