Hoping To Cut To The Chase on Inventory Items As Time Phased Replenishment Method

Hello, all.

We just recently added WMS module and are making some changes as a result.

I am having difficulty finding a direct answer to the following question...

Is it advisable / best practice to make Item Type "INVENTORY" items as TIME PHASED on the Replenishment Method?

NOTE: We have already done so on our Item Types ASSEMBLY and SERIALIZED ASSEMBLY.
