How do I create a calculation in Analytic workbook?

I have a workbook pulling Project Profitability actual data. The report provides the amounts recorded to the projects and includes the account type. I have a pivot built of the project with the amounts by account types (Income and Expense). How do I get a calculation of the net of the Income and Expense? Does it need to be in the dataset or can it be added to the pivot?
