AE:Request for quote without Vendor Centre

Hi,

we need to utilize request for quote without vendor centre. Referring to Answer Id: 41593, we discovered that this record is not scripted and an enhancement is provided (enhancement Issue 365590).

However, the following sentence is indicated on the document:


"Can RFQ be used without Vendor Center?

Yes, but the vendors have no way of responding to the quote"


I have also already opened a case to basic support and it only suggested that there is an enhancement. What would be the suggested solution to allow the user to record a price estimate on a request for quote without going through the vendor centre?
