Warranty and Repairs Functional Processing

Hello, Looking for some thoughts or insights on how to process this.

I understand how the Warranty and Repairs SuiteApp works.

What we have run into if the Item was not shipped previously in NetSuite, a Warranty Registration can not be created. Does anyone have a work around for this if I wanted to use this functionality.

So the question is how to create a repair RMA/SO with a serialized assembly that was not previously entered into the system?
