Turn Off Multiple Vendors per Item In Enable Features

The feature to have multiple vendors per item is turned on (checked). We don't really need this but can't turn it off. The check box is "grayed out". This is a new implementation and items were not entered yet.

Are there any other features that were turned on which in turn forces the multi-vendor feature to be on? Any other reason why this can't be turned off?
