Update Adv BOM Record via CSV

I need to update Adv BOM the restricted assembly item from a BOM so I can delete the BOM record. I have tired an update to set the field values to Null. I have also tried to de-link/set the BOM from an Assembly Item update with no success... Anyone ever done this?
