Formula Date Case not working properly

Hi guys,


I am currently using the following formula case dates for one of our searches:

CASE WHEN TO_TIMESTAMP{appliedtotransaction.shipdate} > TO_TIMESTAMP{actualshipdate} THEN 'N' ELSE 'Y' END

The thing is. the results are inconsistent, any idea why that is? Am i doing something wrong?
