Updated Custom transaction line field

I have a :

  • Custom Item Number Field that holds a date IN_Date
  • Custom transaction line fields on a Sales Order :
  • That holds a serial number SO_SerialNumber
  • Date SO_Date


Is it possible for the the custom transaction line field SO_Date to be updated when IN_Date is updated for the same SO_SerialNumber ?
