SuiteBilling - Subscription renewal failing due to transaction nexus
Hi,
When a subscription renewal is automatically generated, we have instances whereby NetSuite fails to create the Sales Order automatically from the renewal record due to an error 'Transaction nexus xx is not valid for transaction subsidiary xx'.
Upon checking the nexus on the subsidiary, it is indeed not valid as we are not collecting tax per se for the state but also, the customer associated with the subscription has an address that is not in the nexus in question. For example, Customer address is in the UK, the subscription error refers to a state in the United Stated e.g. Record cannot be saved. Transaction nexus United States - MN (19) is not valid for transaction subsidiary xx (56).
