How to update Approved PO Memo field

Hi,

What would be the best option to update PO related information after PO has been approved (mostly changes to Delivery date)? Few options that we have considered :

  • Notes - not really user friendly and will be easily let unnoticed
  • Memo field - could we somehow leave a particular field so that it doesn't get frozen after PO has been approved

Any recommendations or ideas?

We are using out of the box :PO Approval - Employee Center - workflow (with minor modifications done).
