Hi team,

can you please shed some light on the way approvals work for resource allocations?

Let`s say i submit a resource allocation request for John Smith for 10h for the interval 10-12 May. My request is Pending Approval, but what is curious is that john Smith is now available on my project and i can assign him on tasks as i wish, without the Resource Manager (or the resource`s supervisor as the workflow indicates) actually having previously approved my allocation request.

Is there a way to prevent task assignments for resources that haven`t been approved and allocated on the project?
