MRP - Actual Demand - SO: Due Date

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:28PM in Ask A Guru 4 comments

Hi guys,

We have a question in regards to the Planning Work bench in MRP module, please see path below & screenshot below as reference:

Path: Transactions --> Supply Planning Event Log --> Planning Workbench --> View Result

Demand Type: Actual Demand

Demand: Sales Order

Column: Due Date

We have noticed that the the Planning Work bench uses the header date of the SO and this is not accurate. Sometimes, a SO can be opened in certain date and it is an ongoing transaction. In these use cases we update the line item column: 'Expected Delivery Date' (we changed the label to 'Requested Date' but this is vanilla NS line Item field - pls see screenshot as reference), could you please let us know if this is a matter of set up? Bug? Work as design?

Howdy, Stranger!
