Is it possible to create a search that shows what purchase orders items on sales orders belong to?

I would like to see the items under each sales order and what purchase order the items are on all in one search. I thought  Answer Id: 37426 was it but it did not work. It would not specify what Purchase Order the item on the Sales Order belonged to.
