Memorized Transactions Created Automatically

First time poster here.

We have encountered numerous memorized transactions (checks) created within two days this month. Users confirm that they did not manually create the memorized checks. Bank reconciliation activities were performed during that time, and one user recalled seeing the word memorized, but could not elaborate. Could the bank recon process cause this? If so, what would be the best course of action? We do not utilize memorized transactions at all, and would turn off that feature if allowed.
