Accumulated depreciation with account type deferred expense
Good day,
can some explain the purpose of the accumulated depreciation account with account type deferred expense?
Activating the amortization feature the system-generated accounts 'deferred expense' and 'accumulated depreciation' appear. Both with account type 'deferred expense'.
I understand the meaning of the 'deferred expense' account, how to use this one and postings in NetSuite.
But when and for what to use the 'accumulated depreciation' account?
Hope someone can explain.
