Error re: comparison of values in Advanced PDF template

We have an Advance PDF template for invoices that includes from Freemarker logic.

For example, there was a sections of HTML following the below condition:

<#if record.discounttotal != 0>

I've since added another section of HTML following the below condition:

<#if record.amountpaid != 0>

However, now when I try to either save the template or preview it, I get the following error:


I can click Save to submit it anyway, and the template works exactly as expected. It's mostly annoying, with the biggest impact being not getting a preview of the template.

What syntax should be used to get at the value of a sequence+hash+string?
