Dynamic formulas
I have created a saved search to display activity counts (messages, phone calls, etc) using formulas for each activity type. The end result looks something like this:
The formulas to get this info are:
Messages
COUNT( distinct CASE WHEN TRUNC({today}) - {messages.messagedate} <= 30 AND {messages.author} = {salesrep} THEN {messages.internalid} END)
Phone Calls
COUNT(distinct CASE WHEN {activity.date} >= {today}-30 AND {activity.type} = 'Phone Call' AND {activity.assigned} = {salesrep} THEN {activity.internalid} END)
Is it at all possible to use a filter to set the number of days used in the formulas? I can't think of any way to create a dynamic formula like this...
