Cost of sales when returns are received at different locations
I have a question because there was something odd about cost of sales in NetSuite.
Here is an example.
Item A was purchased on a PurchaseOrder and delivered to Warehouse A.
The unit price at the time of purchase is the Cost of Sales.
When the item is Sales, the cost of sales is posted to the general ledger by ItemFullfillment and an invoice is created.
Then, suppose there is a ReturnAuthorization of the product.
When Item A is returned to Warehouse A, the cost of goods sold is posted to the general ledger for the return transaction.
