Script not working for integration record

Hello Friends,


I have a script to default some values to a custom field depending on the value in other columns entered by the user in the Vendor Bill form. The script is working fine. However, when we interface data from an external system, the script doesn't work.


I wrote a user event script & the code is written before submitting the event.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
