Save for Later or Submit Later Purchase Order

Hello Experts,

Can you guide me if there is a way that we can have "Save for Later" or" Submit Later" button in Purchase order form and function of this button is to put Purchase Order on Hold/Draft Status.

Once user can come back to the PO (ih hold/draft State), hit edit and able to "save" which will enable PO to flow through approval hierarchy.

We do not use Advance procurement module and have in built PO approval workflow to approve PO based on hierarchy and approval limit.

Any help in this is greatly appreciated
