Order Quantity Calculation Method

We would like to know if there is a good idea to calculate the quantity of items to be ordered by calculating the average weekly or monthly sales quantity and then saying, "This week, we need to order XX number of this item".


We would like to check three items: the average quantity of the next or monthly sales, the current number of items in stock, and the quantity to be ordered.


Is it possible to do this by using standard reports, customized reports, or saved searches?
