How to remove Edit/View column from Custom Saved Search portlet?

Hello Community! I have a Custom Search portlet for User Notes that is working well. We have removed permissions from this group so they are not able to edit notes. I'd like to get rid of the Edit that automatically appears (it's misleading) and would love the View to go to the actual note, currently both take the user to the form view and that is all. Would love if the edit were not showing and the view opened the actual note. Would love any guidance!


It's a customer saved search w/ User Notes: Memo as the only criteria and here are the results:
