Why do text and checkboxes on Custom Form screen suddenly become smaller and unreadable?

I've noticed with the new UI (user interface) showing in our sandbox, that while editing our custom form, the checkboxes to select/unselect any fields/lists are abnormally small. Specifically the checkboxes. The rest of the text is normal sized. The boxes are so small that I'm unable to see whether they are checked or not even when I've zoomed way in. This appears to be a bug in the new UI design and would be great if it can be fixed asap.
