Is there any way to import Generic Resources?

As far as I can tell, there is no Import Type and Record Type that support the importing of Generic Resources (LISTS>EMPLOYEES>GENERIC RESOURCES).

I don't know much about the SOAP functionality, but it also does not seem to support Generic Resources.

There aren't any Enhancement Requests that I can find for "Import Generic Resources".

Are we the only ones with hundreds of Generic Resources to import every year over multiple Subsidiaries?

Any suggestions? Am I missing something obvious?
