How to make non-taxable Subscription using Avalara?

Hi team, I have a customer that works with subscription and one of their customers is a reseller. For that reason one of the line items on their invoice needs to be non-taxable so they need to create a new subscription item that is non-taxable. They are using Avalara. Can you please guide me on how this should be done?
