how to see description on the assembly section on printing bom for work order

When I print the BOM for a work order, the assembly heirarchy section shows the part number, and indented components with the quantity. I want to put the description and source (phantom or stock) on the assembly lines. How do I trigger that? We use the transaction form PDF layouts. I have the description in the section 1 bill of materials. How do I add more detail to section 2?
