How to create a Saved Search for Customer balance as at a certain date?

HI There

I was wanted to confirm if the following is possible through a saved search:

Is it possible to get a customer's outstanding balance as at a specific date?

Essentially, replicating the same function as what is seen on a customer statement record where the start date determines the opening balance.

I have tried a few saved searches previously though because I couldn't get the result I was after, I wanted to first make sure it was even possible.
