Is it possible to scan only Child Item bar code in Netsuite WMS Matrix Item Scan?

Using Netsuite standard WMS SCM Mobile, we ran into an issue where Barcode we scan needs to contain full Parent & Child hierarchy string

barcode of "Child Item" => Didn't work

barcode of "Parent Item1 : Parent Item2 : Child Item" => Worked.

Problem is that we use standard Code 128 barcode for Parent & Child hierarchy string barcode will be too long.


Is it not possible for Netsuite to process using Child Barcode only?

Also on WMS SCM Mobile, can it only display the Child item only?
