What should be the Transaction Type of Depreciation History after Asset Transfer?
The Fixed Asset transfer instructions has this notation:
"Important You need to update depreciation history records for asset transfers with a ‘Sale or Disposal’ transaction type and a blank asset disposal type. The transaction type must be set to ‘Transfer’."
I am trying to understand if this "sale or disposal" transaction needs to be done for every asset transfer particularly an asset type transfer?
Also, I don't know what it means for 'The transaction type must be set to ‘Transfer’."?
