What Permission is needed to access the Transaction Status table via SuiteQL?

We need to get the text status (not the letters like A, B, C, D) for work orders and other transactions using SuiteQL. However, we get the error below when executing the query:

Search error occurred: Record 'transactionstatus' was not found.

I know this is due to the role not having the proper permission for the 'transactionstatus' record, but what permission, exactly, is that, and on which tab (Transaction, Reports, List, Setup, etc.)??
