How to create Report Snapshots for Sales Rep Dashboard?

Our sales managers are asking to see sales for each sales rep by today, month, quarter and year on their dashboard. They also want to see the sales that have shipped, the same way. Is this possible besides using multiple Report snapshots for "Top # Sales Reps" for each date range? I believe they want to see it in a pretty module for each category (total sales and shipped sales). I'm not even sure if I can get custom reports to show as a module on the dashboard the way they're requesting.

From what I see it's not totally possible besides the multiple snapshots but I wanted to check before giving up.
