How to edit check and change posting period?

A customer from 7004138 Families Reaching Out Group with a donation sku has an ongoing issue. - I entered the checks with the correct 2023 dates, but incorrectly accepted the Default date of 2020. The accounting period is 1/1/2020 - 12/31/2020. As I stated before I can view each transaction, but cannot edit. I would like to be able to go in and edit each transaction that has a 2020 date to the correct date for January - March. Will you please tell me how I can edit?
