Accepting Customer Payments search by sales order

Question.

on the page Accepting Customer Payments we would like to be able to search by the Transaction number, specific the Sales Order. And after the selection to populate the customer.

like this image. We would like to have a field SO# or something on top of the Customer. Then after you enter the sales order number it will populate the customer info, etc.
