How often does a new NetSuite release affect the way that it looks at scripts?

How often does a new NetSuite release affect the way that it looks at scripts?

We have monthly imports of part numbers and they have been working until this month. I am wondering if there are major changes in the scripting software that may be interfering with our importing of files that normally run NetSuite scripts.
