Bill Status Update

Hi Gurus!

I have a perplexing situation where a bill payment was updated from paid to pending when doing a csv import. The import only updated couple custom fields.

Without getting too much into details, high level do you see any reason why a csv import would update a bill's status when some unrelated custom field on the bill is updated?
