Overcommitting Inventory

NS is overcommitting inventory. We have a certain amount of stock built to an inventory status that is not available to allocate, yet NS is automatically allocating it to an open Sales Orders.


See attached screenshots showing:

  • The reallocate screen, quantity committed is more than quantity available.
  • The item profile showing the quantities with different statuses.
  • The Inventory Status page showing that inventory with status "Retained Samples" is not marked as available for commitment

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
