BoM and BoM Revision fields blank on Assembly Build

Hey,

So I just made an assembly item, testing this process out. Made a Sales Order, then made a works order based on the Sales Order. Then I made an assembly build based on the works order, but it's saying that the components of the Assembly Item are.. the assembly item..?

Isn't it supposed to consume materials based on the assembly revision? I don't see those mentioned anywhere nor being consumed from my inventory. I just created 5 assembly items out of nothing. My assembly item as a BoM and that BoM has a revision with all of the components listed out. Yet I don't seem to be able to select a BoM or a Revision for this build.
