Why are my Custom roles not able to view the custom record in view mode?

Hi Team,

There is one scenario where we have created a custom role for few of the users. And similarly we have created a custom record and we have given full access to all those users. But when the users want to view the details, they are not able to view the details in view mode. They have to go and edit the master and they have view the details. Could you please advise is there anything to be done to view the details in view mode instead of edit mode?
