Transaction body field

I have added the below transaction body field to the sales order (it shows up in the right place)

However as you can see it is not populated, I would like the total from the Sales order summary box to populate this field.


right now I have the field settings as follows:

typ= currency

Applies to: Sale

Default value, Formula = {totalamount}

Sorce List= Sales order

Source from= "Total amount"


What am I doing wrong
