Acquisitions

We are doing multiple acquisitions a year. One of the things we need to produce is a comparative TTM set of financials even if a new acquisition is in its first month. Does anyone have any suggestions on a way to handle this. I was thinking maybe budgeting/forecasting could be adapted to do this??
