Small balance write off A/R

Hello,

i have written off some small balances of about 0.01 on our A/R customers by accepting payments and depositing the funds in a G/L account defined by our accounts team. I am wondering as I have not used a journal for write off, whether this will cause any issues. Please can you advise. Thanks.
