Accounting Preferences Changes by Script or Workflow

Hello everyone!

I hope you all are doing great.

We have a process, probably Avalara BR, that changes accounting preferences when Voiding a Transaction.

The process changes the "Void Transactions..." flag under accounting preferences.

We have a support ticket with them to understand why and how they are doing, but once they can do it, I would like to know the following:

How could we block any changes in Accounting Preferences using script workflow or other methods?
