SuiteTalk SOAP - Error: In the SOAP i get an error "country => _turkey" is not part of the list!

Hi all,

I have a problem to create a customer with the country "_turkey" via SOAP Services. Only customers with this country have this problem. Other countries doesn't have problems. So other countries (_belgium, _germany, _austria, _netherlands,…) works fine

I got an error:

<faultstring>org.xml.sax.SAXException: _turkey is not a legal value for {urn:types.common_2023_2.platform.webservices.netsuite.com}Country</faultstring>

The documentation gives me this value "_turkey" for "TR" (Türkiye) → see

I tried

  • type the name again manual
  • copy & paste (without formatting) from the website

Nothing worked, the value is as the documentation says.

Do anybody have an idea, which I can fix this? Is there any way in netSuite to check the value in the Browser direct?
