Reversal Date is in a Closed Accounting Period

Hi All

Is it need to re open Apr 2024 when reversing a JE in May 2024 for original posting date in Apr 2024?

It is misleading as the error message said Reversal Date is in a closed accounting period when May 2024 is not Closed?

I could this Error Status Codes Suite Answer 11613 but there is no clue?
