How to filter a Custom Contact field to show all of the Contacts of a customer in a Sales Order?
Hi,
We have created for our SO transaction a custom Ship To Contact field.
To get this done I have created the following customer Transaction Body Field:
Field Name: Ship To Contact
Field Type: List/Record
List/Record: Contact
Sourcing & Filtering
Source list: Customer
Source Filter: Parent
(please see screenshot below)
Over all, this filed is working great, when generating a SO, it shows (almost) all of the contacts which are affiliated to the customer that is participating in the transactions.
HOWEVER, lately I noticed that this setup might not have been the best solution.
Reason: The Contact can have a one to many relationship, meaning that it can be assigned to 1 primary Customer (Company) and below can be assigned to additional Customers (Companies) as well (please see screenshot below).
