Sourcing Transaction Line Field from Sales Order Body Field

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:45PM in Ask A Guru 4 comments

We are trying to set up a transaction line field on a Sales Order that sources its information from one of the Sales Order body fields; however, we cannot get it to work as expected.

In the Sales Order, we have a Tags Required custom field in the body, as shown below:

And in the transaction line, we have a Tag Part? custom field, like so:

We want that Tag Part? field to source its value from the Tags Required field of the Sales Order (so if it's checked on the Sales Order body, then it will be checked at the line level whenever an item is added, and vice versa). It is not working, though.

Howdy, Stranger!
