Multiple Locations and Costing
Hello Everyone,
I've seen this discussed before but I can't find the thread that held the discussion. Are there any costing issues when you create multiple virtual locations? I've seen people say that it makes costing a bigger headache and it's not the best practice. Our team wants to create locations like
Destruction
Returns
Reception
Defective
Broken
These are all virtual locations held under one REAL location. My initial thought was to just use inventory statuses instead of creating this mess. As I mentioned earlier, I have heard of additional cost conflicts when having many unnecessary locations.
