Payment Due Date Based on Fulfillment Date
We have customers who we require a 50% deposit at the time of order placement. Since these projects are larger, and require multiple steps, and sometimes drag out for months, the rest of the payment is due after the items are fully fulfilled. I've tested Installments in Sandbox, however, since it's still date-based, as opposed to fulfillment-date based, it won't work for this situation. Is there a way to set this up? Example below but any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Example:
Customer orders big build-out project on 5/1/24. 50% payment of total sales order is due at time of booking - 5/1/24. We special order equipment and install crew. All items are fulfilled and installed on 7/8/24. We would require the remaining 50% to be due 30 days after 7/8/24, so on 8/7/24. Any way the system can automate that?
