Possible to update the Disposal Date in FAM?

A user disposed of a group of assets in FAM with the incorrect disposal date due to date formatting issue - the disposal date is 01/07/2024 when it should have been 07/01/2024. The disposal journals posted to the GL in July as expected but the FAM reports show the January date. Doesn't look like Disposal Date on the Asset Sale/Disposal tab is editable - not on the asset record nor is the field available on the Custom Record/FAM Asset Import Assistant.

In our Sandbox, I have edited the date on the Disposal and Depreciation entries on the Depreciation Histories tab and that does adjust the Asset Register but the FAM Disposals Search (Fixed Assets > Searches > Disposals) shows the original date from the Asset Record. The user wants to be able to use the FAM Disposals Search for audit purposes.
